Description :

MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN.

Shift : 4x12 NIGHTS.

Weekend : Every other weekend.

First-time travelers accepted.

Locals not accepted; must be more than 75 miles away.

RTO : Cannot have time off from December 24 to December 28.

Charting : Must have EPIC experience.

Patient ratio : 1 : 5 or 1 : 7 for 26 beds.

Specializes in the care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions.

Skills include cardiac monitoring and emergency response, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response / code teams.

IV therapy and phlebotomy : peripheral line care / management.

Respiratory skills : nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is required.

Candidate must be willing to float to other units if necessary.

Experience with EPIC charting is a hard requirement.

Background policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
