Photo Producer - The Planet Group (Fortune 500 client)

Location : Hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City, CA

Duration : 12 months; potential to extend

Pay : $91 / hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)

The Planet Group is looking for a Photo Producer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City, CA.

Photo Producer Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with the Lead Producer and Art Directors to take photoshoots and supporting motion capture end-to-end, from project brief through shoot capture and post-production.
  • Work across a variety of productions and oversee multiple productions at once.
  • Work independently guiding productions from concept to delivery
  • Manage contracts and negotiate fees with photographers and agents
  • Manage budgets and translate a creative vision into a cost-effective production approach
  • Manage a project, partner with internal and external teams on setting timelines, workflows and cross-functional meetings
  • Create a systematic approach to document filing and archiving

Photo Producer Qualifications :

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant photo production experience
  • Must be able to provide and speak to a visual portfolio of work at Producer level or higher
  • Based in Los Angeles area, the role requires 3 days per week of attendance on-site in Culver City
  • Available for occasional travel
  • Passion for photography as a medium with a vast knowledge of photographers and global photo agencies at every scale (unit, editorial and commercial) with an eye for the inclusion of diverse voices
  • Hands-on experience producing photo and motion shoots for a multitude of purposes
  • Experience overseeing high volume photography licensing commissions
