Job description

Title : Senior Designer, Children’s Plush and Toy

Location : New York, NY Hybrid

Salary : $90,000 +

An established and respected manufacturer of children's plush toys located in New York City is seeking a talented designer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop plush toy concepts for new products under our existing brand.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure accuracy and completeness of

all project information.

  • Deliver all artwork on time while adhering to brand guidelines and standards for both

    • internal and licensed partner brands.

  • Prepare and verify all production files before they are sent to factories.
  • Participate in quarterly shopping trips to gather inspiration and market insights.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to conceptualize new product developments.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing plush toys, accessories and children's products.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop / Illustrator.
  • Ability to create 3D renderings of toys and home fabrics.
  • Strong skills in creating original prints and incorporating personal artwork into designs.
