Position Overview : Join our dedicated Database Administration team as a Database Administrator specializing in EPIC Cache / Iris. In this full-time, exempt position, you will play a vital role in supporting our growing network of Caché / Iris database environments, serving over 25,000 users.

Department : UCHlth Database Administration

Salary : $37.04 - $55.57 / hour, commensurate with relevant experience

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Caché / Iris.
• Install, configure, and maintain database environments.
• Set up and configure Epic monitoring tools (Redalert, System Pulse) and manage alerts and logs effectively.
• Monitor service health and handle service requests and change management proactively.
• Identify and resolve issues while implementing preventive measures.
• Conduct routine upgrades and updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Test and maintain business continuity plans, including disaster recovery and backup restores.
• Evaluate performance metrics and troubleshoot complex performance issues.
• Work independently while collaborating across teams to deliver effective solutions.
