We’re seeking a motivated Manufacturing Systems Engineer to support marketplace operations within our clients growing mfg facility in the greater Ruther Glen area!
This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing, materials flow, and supply chain operations .
You’ll work closely with leaders in procurement and value stream management to improve efficiency across kitting, Kanban, and inventory systems while contributing to a lean, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of an internal manufacturing marketplace supplying kits, parts, and materials to production teams.
- Implement and maintain lean workflows and visual controls to improve material flow and accountability.
- Assist in designing and managing kitting operations to support production and service needs.
- Help develop and sustain Kanban systems and replenishment triggers for high-use components.
- Partner with procurement and planning teams to ensure timely and accurate material availability.
- Utilize tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and WMS to track, analyze, and improve operational performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field (required)1+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, warehouse, operations, or supply chain rolesInternship or co-op experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plusFamiliarity with Kanban, lean materials flow, and kitting systemsProficiency with Excel, ERP, and inventory management toolsExposure to barcode scanning, WMS, or warehouse layout design is beneficialWhy Join Us
