Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Spanish Fort, Alabama (In person only)

Salary: $70k - $95k

Employment type: Full-time but with flexible hours

Position Overview:


A beautiful clinic in Baldwin County, Alabama looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. You would be instrumental in delivering high-quality, evidence-based services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ranging from 18 months to 18 years old. Your expertise would guide the development and implementation of personalized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), while working closely with families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team, all under the direction of our experienced Clinical Director. Your work would directly impact the lives of individuals with autism, helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct Assessments: Perform comprehensive behavioral assessments, such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and preference assessments, to gather data and inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that align with clients' needs and goals. Ensure these interventions are evidence-based and focused on improving client outcomes.
  • Supervise and Mentor: Lead and guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members. Monitor the fidelity of interventions and provide ongoing feedback to staff to ensure the best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with Families: Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure interventions are being generalized in home and community settings. Provide training and support to help families implement ABA strategies effectively.
  • Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data to track progress towards treatment goals; and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress and success.
  • Participate in Team Meetings: Join multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with other professionals, share insights, and contribute to ongoing care planning for clients.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed, accurate records of assessments, interventions, progress notes, and any changes to treatment plans. Ensure compliance with clinic policies and ethical standards.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up to date with the latest research in the field of behavior analysis and autism treatment. Apply new knowledge to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:


Current BCBA Certification
Preferred experience working as a BCBA
Clinical Competence and Judgment in ABA services
Strong communication skills and supervisory skills
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
Must work well within a team
