Responsibilities Work in a hospital Cardiac Med / Surg unit Night shift schedule from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three 12-hour shifts per week Care for cardiac and medical-surgical patient populations Level 1 trauma center experience required EPIC EMR is utilized and prior experience is required Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and contribute to individualized patient care plans Perform bedside laboratory testing and maintain quality control in compliance with policy Limited to no more than 7 days of requested time off within a 13-week contract Scrub and dress code in accordance with hospital policy No travel partners accepted for this assignment Returning travelers must have a 6-month break after one year of continuous assignment at this health system Requirements Active Illinois RN license or temporary IL RN license in good standing Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year of relevant Med / Surg nursing experience Minimum of three years of applicable nursing experience preferred EPIC charting experience required Level 1 trauma experience required Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630936.
