This is a full-time on-site role for a Installation Technician at Ignite Mechanical in Metro Detroit, MI. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance, and handling plumbing and electrical work.

The ability to motivate and lead a team, and create a positive work environment

The ability to convey data accurately and quickly, both verbally and in writing

The ability to resolve issues and provide systematic solutions

The ability to balance job duties and new tasks

The ability to implement tracking systems, optimize inventory levels, and reduce costs

The ability to use available tools effectively

An understanding of finance for stock management Construction / power tool experience helpful

Communication skills / ability to represent the company in a professional way

Dependability

Ability to work with others and independently

Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills

Plumbing and Electricity knowledge

Ability to work independently and on-site

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Relevant experience in HVAC systems

High School diploma or equivalent

Tasks :

Residential furnace, A / C, water heater and duct work installments, replacements, and repairs

Commercial rooftop unit installations, replacements, and repairs

Commercial boiler, cooler and duct work installations, replacements, and repairs

Fabrication in shop / field
