JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Supervisor – PM is responsible for leading and managing the afternoon warehouse team, which handles quality control, order picking, and flatbed trailer loading. This role requires strong leadership skills, and a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and productivity. The Operations Supervisor will ensure his team is efficient and productive with their time.  The Operations Supervisor will spend the majority of the day on the warehouse floor, acting as the final quality control checkpoint to ensure orders are pulled, packaged, and loaded correctly. Working as part of a team of four supervisors / managers, this position plays a critical role in driving warehouse performance and supporting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage 8-10 direct reports and approx. 15 dotted line reports (Forklift Operators, Porters, Truck Drivers)
• Coordinate and assign work, set completion time, review work and manage performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and performance management processes
• Must be flexible with late add-on orders, order adjustments and / or order cancellations
• Act as the quality control check after orders are pulled and loaded onto trucks
• Serve as the final quality control checkpoint for all outbound orders.
• Track and document damages and errors and make suggestions on how to improve error rate
• Responsible for trucks being loaded safely and correctly
• Oversee warehouse and facilities cleanliness
• Back up the Operations Manager as needed
• Ensure communications and actions are in alignment with our mission, vision and culture
• Confirm paperwork is accurate and updated accordingly
• Responsible for locking up and alarming warehouses
• Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals and work effectively with other team members
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
• Present a professional image at all times
• Perform various other duties and special projects as assigned
