Job Title : Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN)

Location : Houston, TX

Candidates must be willing to travel between both locations( 2 in Houston) .

Schedule : Monday through Friday

Shift times vary by need : 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.

Assist in surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team.

Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during procedures.

Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and education to patients and families.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development activities.

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license

Minimum of 2–3 years of Operating Room experience

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
