Job description

Sr. Program Manager

Raytheon seeks an experienced Sr. Program Manager to support their CIWS International program. In this role you will have responsibility for the alignment of both program and company goals & objectives. This position also provides leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and approach.

This is an onsite position located at Tucson, AZ facility. Relocation assistance is NOT available, currently.

What You Will Do :

  • Manage international programs, ensuring alignment with both program and company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for global projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the execution of project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders, customers, and partners through significant international visits.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
  • Ability to travel Internationally, as required

  • Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience
  • Experience in program management, including leadership roles on projects.
  • Qualifications We Prefer :

  • PM Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain Certification within a year or equivalent certification (PMP, etc.)
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience working with government and defense agencies.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in aerospace and defense.

  • The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
