Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing, a trusted leader in healthcare staffing nationwide, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week field contract in Annapolis, MD. In this role, youll work with a reputable national home health agency, providing high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their homes.

Contract Details :

  • Location : Annapolis, MD , and surrounding areas
  • Company : Sunbelt Staffing in partnership with a Nationwide Home Health Agency
  • Contract Length : 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)
  • Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)
  • Productivity : 25-32 per week, up to 35 patients per week
  • Compensation : Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget, most commonly negotiated range is $50-$55per hour
  • Mileage Reimbursement : .38c from patient home to home, 150-250 miles per week of expected travel
  • Blended Pay Packages : Available for travelers
  • Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, 401k match after 90 days

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with agency standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter care.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to patient homes withinarea, using reliable transportation.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Adhere to Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.

    • Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience working in the field.
  • Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) required.
  • Oasis Certified strongly preferred, but not required
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
