Overview : We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Automation Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation systems, process improvement, and troubleshooting of automated equipment. This role will focus on maintaining, programming, and optimizing production equipment to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and motion control systems.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements.
Support installation, startup, and validation of automated equipment.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and control system drawings.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in automation, controls, or manufacturing engineering.
Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI design.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industrial robotics, sensors, and motion control systems is preferred.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
