Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate commercial insurance applications to determine risk levels.
• Review financials, claims history, and business operations to support underwriting decisions.
• Structure policies, set premiums, and ensure terms align with company guidelines.
• Manage broker and client relationships, renewals, and policy amendments.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting limits, FSCA regulations, and TCF principles.
• Analyse claims trends and portfolio performance to inform pricing and risk strategy.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across all underwriting activities.

Matric

STI NQF or Higher Certificate

3 years commercial underwriting exposure

Binder exposure
