Key Responsibilities :

Safely operates equipment to stock, fulfill and move products in an efficient manner.

  • NEW Raymond Brand equipment
  • Essential Functions :

  • Safely and efficiently operate all power equipment including : Stand up and sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers and pallet jacks
  • Complete all documentation required for proper operation of equipment including : pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, and maintenance requests
  • Maintaining inventory control and accuracy through processes and systems set forth by the company
  • Receive inventory, stock shelves, pick orders, package orders and ship orders
  • Check and restock merchandise, inventory, inspect for damage, and verify bin contents
  • Maintain work areas by keeping areas clean, neat and orderly
  • Knowledge, Skills, Duties and Abilities :

  • Able to perform tasks accurately
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and customer service driven attitude
  • Able to stay organized and on task
  • Able to use scanners in conjunction with the WMS system
  • Check and restock inventory, inspect for damage, and verify counts
  • Meet and maintain accuracy and production goals
  • Timely pulling and downstocking of replenishments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse population and workforce both individually and as part of a team
  • Completion of maintenance sheets, daily maintenance of inventory, and report discrepancies to supervisor
  • Comply with federal, state, local, OSHA, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform other duties and / or work in other departments of work location as assigned
  • CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :

  • Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Fisher Auto Parts Employee and Driver's Handbooks
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred;
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test;
  • Wear appropriate footwear protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Company policy;
  • Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Fisher Auto Parts Employee and Driver's Handbooks
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted;
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop;
  • Also required to climb, push / pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • May be occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and / or vehicles, high / precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and / or vibration. Noise level may be moderate to heavy.
  • Must have considerable mobility, and be able to stand and / or sit for long durations of time.
  • Requirements

    Knowledge, Skills, Duties and Abilities :

  • Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blue prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with 120 / 277 / 480 volt electricity;
  • Ability to perform work productively with a high quality of workmanship while able to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety;
  • Be dependable, trustworthy, display a professional attitude, and complete work within given deadlines;
  • Ability to use resourcefulness and tact in meeting new problems;
  • Ability to perform assigned work in a systematic and organized manner;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Must be able to take initiative and be self-sufficient while working independently with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, orally, diagram, and / or schedule form;
  • Proficient with basic computer skills;
  • Using English, communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to work as a team member in a professional manner;
  • Customer service oriented.
  • CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :

  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent is preferred;
  • 6 months-1 year facility maintenance supervisory experience is preferred;
  • Conveyor repair and maintenance experience required;
  • Scissors lift and forklift experience preferred;
  • Must possess and maintain a valid and current driver's license;
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
