Role - DevOps Engineer
Location - San Leandro, California (preferred ) & Charlotte NC
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs.
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.
- Participate in day-to-day standups for platform capability build.
- Provide SME guidance for development teams.
- Collaborate and work very closely with the engineering strategy, platform engineering and development teams to understand the infrastructure requirements and drive all aspects of application journey to the cloud platform.
- Research industry best practices, evaluate new technologies, develop standards and engineering best practices and recommend innovative solutions that support automation.
- Act as an expert resource for other technical teams within DTI.
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of experience with DevSecOps practices in an enterprise environment including CI / CD pipelines and DevSecOps-focused collaboration.4+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment.4+ years of Gradle or Maven experience.4+ years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e., applications to infrastructure).5+ years of source or version control tools experience.4+ years of experience with Linux OS environment.3+ years of Python experience.3 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server.3+ years of JIRA experience.3+ years of Splunk experience.Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics.Knowledge and understanding of automation and engineering release development.Experience in configuring, troubleshooting Node.js tech stack and Java Tech stack-based environments.Job Description :
Automating Build, Release, Testing, Packaging, and deployment of applications.Build DevSecOps toolchains / automation to achieve CICD, Blue-Green deployments, feature toggles.Deep understanding of Gradle (and maven) build tools.Implement & Design CICD pipelines using Github, SonarQube, Jenkins, uDeploy, Harness, Ansible & container solution such as Docker, Kubernetes.Perform infra structure (Tomcat, PingFederate, Java) upgrades as applicable for legacy and micro services-based applications.Design new UCD processes / Maintain existing processes to streamline auto deployment for micro services-based application.Provide application build and deployment lifecycle support.Experience supporting tomcat, nginx, SSL certificates and other infrastructure integrations.Document procedures for installation and maintenance of the software application.Develop, create, and modify computer application software or specialized utility programs, to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.Work with Agile teams to determine stories for product releases and deployment across on premise & cloud.About ApTask :
