About The Position

• Epic experience required
• Weekend and on-call requirements as per unit needs
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

Description :

This role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room.

The position involves working in a 41 OR unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center.

All types of procedures will be performed in this setting.

Candidates must have experience with General, GU / GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic cases.

The facility accommodates a daily census of 90-110 patients.

Travelers should be willing to work nights if they have good OR experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Candidates with previous charge experience will be preferred.

Relevant skills in performing various surgical procedures are required, such as hysterectomies, craniotomies, and laparoscopic procedures.

Documentation and charting will be done using Epic.

The position requires flexibility to address unit needs, including potential floating to other ORs.

Ideal candidates should be willing to cover weekend shifts as necessary.

Pre-approved time off is limited, and specific blackout periods apply.
