Position Overview

We are seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to join our operations team. This role combines hands-on order fulfillment with customer service support, ensuring our veterinary partners receive exceptional products and timely assistance. It's a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines

Handle temperature-sensitive biologics using specialized shipping methods (e.g., cold chain packaging with dry ice)

Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email

Assist veterinarians and clinics with order status, tracking, product questions, and reorders

Provide proactive communication on backorders, delays, or shipping issues

Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and customer interactions

Perform quality checks on all shipments before dispatch

Support returns processing and resolution of customer concerns

Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing product and packaging supplies

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification preferred

1–3 years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or customer service (biotech, healthcare, or veterinary industry preferred)

Strong customer service skills with excellent phone and email etiquette

Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail

Comfortable handling shipping of biologics and cold chain requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with shipping and inventory software a plus

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

What We Offer

$17–$20 / hour (depending on experience)

Part-time schedule :

Monday–Wednesday (11am–4pm, in-office) & Thursday (11am–3pm, remote)

Hands-on training in customer service and specialized biologic fulfillment
