As a Lead Swim Instructor , youll play a key role in developing new instructors, upholding safety standards, and ensuring every class meets the highest level of quality.

What Youll Do as an Instructor Trainer

Youll teach swim lessons, train new team members, and help uphold our standards of safety, fun, and effectiveness. Youll model excellent instruction while coaching others on how to do the same.

Teach swim and water safety lessons to children and adults

Lead by examplebring energy, professionalism, and consistency to every shift

Mentor instructors through in-water shadowing and feedback

Support onboarding and continuing development of swim staff

Observe lessons, coach in real time, and give supportive feedback

Assist the Aquatics Manager in maintaining curriculum quality and class consistency

Ensure safety standards are upheld during every shift

Who Were Looking For

This role is for a confident instructor whos ready to lead from within the water. You should be passionate about teaching, energized by coaching others, and serious about safety.

Experienced Swim Instructors Youve run great lessons and know what quality looks like

Swim Coaches & Lifeguards You understand technique and how to keep everyone safe

Peer Mentors & Trainers You love helping others grow and improve

Educators & Leaders Youre comfortable giving feedback and setting expectations

British Swim School Alums You know our method and mission and are ready for more

What You Need to Succeed

A confident, encouraging, and professional presenceon deck and in the pool

Strong teaching skills and comfort working with all age groups

Leadership ability and a desire to mentor others

Reliability and team spiritwere counting on you

High school diploma (or in progress)

Able to be on your feet in the pool for 4 hours and occasionally assist in lifting children

Current Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR / AED certification required (we offer reimbursement for certification if needed)
