New Business Underwriter - General Liability - NY or VA

Client company seeks a Commercial Lines Insurance New Business Underwriter responsible for reviewing and analyzing general liability risk, underwriting and pricing new business submissions while developing strong relationships with brokers and agents. Assess risk exposures, industry trends, and applicant financials to determine appropriate terms and pricing.

Qualifications include 3+ years of commercial underwriting experience and Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Location can be in NYC Suburbs or Richmond suburbs.
