Job Description & Requirements

Minimum Experience

• Required: 1.5 years of Mammography experience (Screening required)
• Preferred: 2 years of experience with strong clinical competency
• First-time travelers: Accepted

Work Settings

• Inpatient (Preferred)
• Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Conduct 3-D Mammography (Tomosynthesis) procedures
• Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
• Adapt to department workflow and float between units as needed

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (R) — Required
• ARRT (M) — Preferred
• California Mammography Radiologic Technologist License — Required
• BLS Certification — Required
• Active license required at time of submission (Pending licenses not accepted)

Vaccination Requirement

• Flu Vaccine Required (No exemptions allowed)

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday with Saturday rotation
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  (Hours may vary based on department needs)
• On-Call: Not required
• Floating: Yes — may float to different departments within the main campus
• Scheduling Requests: Cannot be accommodated
