Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma for a nursing job in Austell, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Trauma Discipline : RN Duration : Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Staff Core Responsibilities Exemplary Practice & Outcomes Performs all steps of the Nursing Process using evidence-based care. Delivers culturally competent, patient-centered care. Partners with patients and families in care planning and updates. Adheres to current clinical practice standards. Teamwork & Collaboration Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe patient care. Promotes effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork. Engages in performance improvement, research, and shared governance participation. Professional Development & Initiative Completes mandatory and population-specific education. Acts as preceptor / mentor to peers and students. Models professional nursing behavior within a healthy work environment. Evidence-Based Practice & Research Promotes use of research and continuous quality improvement. Ensures compliance with policies, regulatory, and safety standards (e.g., TJC goals). Participates in data collection and applies evidence to clinical questions. Resources & Support Plans patient care across the continuum. Assists in protocol and procedure development to reduce readmissions and adverse events. Supports efficient resource utilization and cost-effective care. Required Qualifications Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred) Licenses / Certifications : Active RN license (Georgia or Multi-state Compact) BLS certification (Basic Life Support; Instructor option accepted) Experience : Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience Skills : English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) Basic computer literacy and technology use in clinical care Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Effective time management and ability to handle fast-paced environments Evidence-based and critical thinking proficiency Key Benefits Opportunity to work within Georgia’s most integrated health system.
