JOB TITLE : Accounting Consultant

JOB LOCATION : Springfield MA - Hybrid

WAGE RANGE : $60- 69 / hr. W2

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

  • Excel expert
  • Complex modelling / allocations experience - understand results and measuring changes
  • Previous journal entry experience - creating, balancing, validating and posting
  • SAP R3 or S4H experience - GLSU
  • Complex accounting controls / reconciliations
  • Key customer collaboration and reporting

Education : An ideal educational background would include a mix of accounting, financial modeling and allocations - you can equate this to the development of overhead application rates studied in cost or managerial accounting classes.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • This is a specialist role for an expense accountant that will focus on mastering Financials current expense allocation process.
  • In this role you will partner with the current specialist, learning his role and responsibilities, reporting requirements and controls in order to free up capacity during a strategic project.
  • The candidate should be an expert at navigating Microsoft Excel.
  • The model is presently made up of three files that intake actual expenses at a detailed level and run them through a series of waterfall mechanics that produce allocated expenses.
  • The model is a combination of basic math, allocation methodologies, and drivers.
  • The outputs are journal entries that post into SAP.
