The Controller oversees all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clear visibility into company performance. This role requires strong QuickBooks expertise and construction accounting experience, including job costing.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting functions : GL, AP / AR, payroll, and month?end / year?end close.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Oversee job costing for labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead.
• Maintain accurate WIP reports and support cost to complete forecasting.
• Partner with project managers on budgets, cost variances, and profitability.
• Serve as QuickBooks expert for setup, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure accurate mapping for job costing and financial reporting.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Collaborate with ownership, operations, project managers, auditors, and lenders.
• Provide data driven financial insights for decision making.

Pay Details : $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
