Consumer Class Action / Privacy Litigation Associate - Midlevel - Los Angeles

The Litigation practice group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a dynamic and skilled midlevel associate (3rd to 6th year) to join our Los Angeles office. This role is designed to support a high volume of class action and privacy matters. With an anticipated increase in these types of cases over the next year, this position offers a robust opportunity to engage in significant litigation work.

What You'll Do :

• Support and manage consumer class action and privacy litigation matters.
• Engage in federal and state court proceedings and in arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs with precision and clarity.
• Manage discovery processes, particularly in class action and mass arbitration contexts.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
• Multi-task and adapt to the evolving landscape of class action, mass arbitration and privacy law.
• Play a significant role in class action, mass arbitration and privacy litigation matters.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients, receiving real responsibility early in your career.

The annualized salary range for this position in California is $225,000 to $290,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm. Additional voluntary benefits programs include : voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
