Night Auditor Position at Wayfinder Newport

Wayfinder Newport, a boutique hotel in Newport, Rhode Island, is seeking a Night Auditor for its Front Desk team. This role is pivotal during the key hours from 11pm to 7am, where service excellence is paramount. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and guest service, this opportunity is for you.

Your Role :

• Help guests discover their "Wanderlust" experience
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Check guests in, ensuring proper credit and special requests are noted
• Resolve problems and "WOW" guests through recovery
• Promote and sell special hotel programs
• Interact with hotel / resort staff professionally
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures
• Maintain house bank
• Generate, print, and distribute daily and weekly reports
• Ensure Night Audit procedures are followed
• Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
• Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
• Assist other departments as needed
