About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with experience in OTC health and / or pharmaceutical manufacturing to lead the design, implementation, and support of automated systems in a cGMPregulated environment. The ideal candidate will design and lead the implementation automation solutions that improve process efficiency, data integrity, and compliance, while supporting both ongoing operations and capital projects.

Your responsibilities

Automation Systems

• Lead design, installation, and maintenance of automation systems for manufacturing and utilities.
• Develop and implement PLC, SCADA, HMI, and DCS control systems.
• Act as SME for automation in pharmaceutical production and facility operations.
• Author and review GAMP 5-compliant validation documents (URS, FRS, IQ / OQ / PQ).
• Ensure systems comply with 21 CFR Part 11, FDA, EU Annex 11, and GxP standards.
• Integrate automation with MES, historians, and data platforms.
• Select and deploy robotics, sensors, and industrial automation technologies.

Salary Range

USD$115,000.00 - $173,000.00

Pay Transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
