Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills lathes grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders to determine setup procedures.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges).
• Load and unload materials and parts ensuring proper workholding and tooling selection.
• Monitor machine operations detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting controls.
• Make minor program adjustments (offsets tool changes) to optimize machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
