Job Title : Hibachi Chef

Reports To : Head Chef, Restaurant Manager, Shift Leaders

Summary :

The Hibachi Chef is responsible for providing an entertaining and interactive dining experience for guests while preparing and cooking food on a hibachi grill. They must possess excellent culinary skills, showmanship, and the ability to engage and entertain guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Food Preparation :

Prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and rice dishes on a hibachi grill according to restaurant recipes and standards.

Engage guests in conversation and create a lively and entertaining atmosphere.

Greet guests warmly and professionally, answering any questions they may have about the menu or cooking process.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the hibachi grill, utensils, and surrounding areas.

Assist with kitchen tasks as needed, such as food preparation, cleaning, and stocking.

Qualifications :

Excellent culinary skills, particularly in grilling and Japanese cuisine.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
