Manager Of Field Finance

Manager Of Field Finance reports directly to the Finance Director Central Region and is responsible for supporting the Customer Logistics Director (DCL). This role provides financial analysis and support for the monthly close process, annual business plan, and new business opportunities for the Central Operations team. This position will support our Dedicated Transportation business segment.

Essential Functions

• Month-End Closing
• Forecasting and budget development
• Research and provide explanations of variances vs. forecast / budget / prior year and ensure billing opportunities are captured
• Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance : Ensure adequate controls are in place to drive Sarbanes-Oxley compliance around revenue recognition procedures and contractual terms that could create financial exposure
• Work with the Field Finance Director to translate, communicate and implement corporate financial policies, guidelines, procedures, and controls
• Oversee the collection of accounts receivable
• Support analysis of proposed new business including pricing, optimizing the deal structure, development of customer proposals and subsequent negotiation
• Provide detailed budget tracking for new business startups

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data / ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and / or long-term incentive plan based on the level and / or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below :
