Process Engineer

Job Description

Role :

Responsible for continuously improving the process by troubleshooting to provide solutions and ideas concerning problems that directly relate to issues involving safety, environmental, quality, production, stability, process conditions and machine performance. Implement actions to improve product quality. maintain records for Manufacturing information on Quality, Productivity, and Cost. Work with others within the organization to transfer test products to production. Serve as a lead for expense and capital projects. Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain records for manufacturing information ton Quality, Productivity, and Cost. Monitor operating data trends on a daily basis to proactively identify positive a and negative trends. Specifically, as these trends relate to quality, cost or productivity.
• Maintain presence on the production floor and interact with Supervisors and Technicians with the emphasis on supporting Safety. Develop knowledge of OSHA VPP, ISO9001 and 14001 systems.
• Support others within the organization during test production and act as a liaison for technical transfer to production.
• Assist in the analysis and resolution of customer complaints specifically when spinning is determined to be root cause.

Requirements :

The successful candidate must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision. Attention to detail, tact, and diplomacy will be vital. A bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering is required.
