ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Kingston, Pennsylvania.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - OR

Job Details :

  • Work day shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 15 PM
  • Call required every 6 days including weekends
  • 13-week assignment with 48-hour guarantees available
  • 1+ year travel experience required
  • 2+ years OR RN experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Must be willing to float to pre-op and endoscopy units
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 1 or 2 : 1
  • Work with 13 beds on unit
  • Use Cerner EMR system
  • Blue scrub color required
  • Auto offers only - no interviews
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care
  • Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel
  • Ensure supplies, case timeliness, and communication with families
  • Update physician preference cards
  • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
  • Supervise personnel delivering patient care
  • Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
