Supply Chain Analyst
The purpose of this role is to support the creation of an overall supply plan for specific plants and third-party suppliers within the franchise scope. The role involves interfacing with production scheduling, procurement, and customer service to ensure an integrated approach to supply planning. The supply chain analyst will lead in responding to demand requirements from the business and ensure a supply plan is in place to communicate production and purchasing needs to the manufacturing and supply base.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of a Master Resource Plan based on the latest demand signal to determine production or purchasing needs and ensure sufficient raw materials and components are available for the supply plan up to 24 months.
- Assist in the creation of capacity plans to identify potential bottlenecks or risks to supply, develop proposals to mitigate these issues, and identify underutilization that could affect supply costs.
- Work under the supervision of the Supply Planning Manager to set correct inventory levels by understanding demand volatility and supply chain lead times.
- Track the execution of the supply plan with production scheduling and buying, ensuring operationalization and performance tracking, including mitigating back orders and communicating future supply risks.
- Ensure products are phased in and planned correctly while communicating and timing the exit of products within the plant or third party.
- Support the Supply Planning Manager in effective communication and confirmation back to the demand plan, confirming capability to meet requirements through daily, weekly, and monthly execution processes.
- Maintain all Supply Planning system core master-data to focus on real supply issues.
- Identify root causes of performance issues and provide recommendations to the Supply Planning Manager on how to mitigate and sustain improvements.
Essential Skills
Experience in supply chain management, forecasting, and planning analytics, particularly within the medical device industry.Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics.Strong skills in Excel, including macros, vlookup, and pivot tables.BA Degree in business or supply chain.5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in procurement and logistics.Open to various types of ERP experience.Work Environment

The position requires maintaining core master-data in the Supply Planning system and working closely with the Supply Planning Manager. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $61.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
