Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting with 16 operating suites and an average of 35-50 cases daily Patient ratio is 1 : 1 in the OR, with a variety of cases including cardiac, neuro, ortho trauma, robotics, general, pediatrics, transplants, gyn, uro, and select ENT and plastics procedures Specialized equipment includes three DaVinci robots and Stealth navigation for neuro cases Uses Epic EMR system; experience within the last 3 years required Scrub uniforms provided by facility Floating across multiple campuses is required Weekend call required from end of shift Friday to 6 : 30 am Monday Expected to work two of the three major winter holidays : Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving Only one day of paid time off allowed between November 26-30, 2025 and December 23, 2025-January 2, 2026 Team supports fast turnover with an expectation of less than 20 minutes for case transitions Scrub or circulate duties may be required, with both skillsets preferred Position is at a Level I trauma center, with reserved OR space for emergent cases Collaborative perioperative team environment with opportunities to expand skills in multiple service areas Requirements Active IA or compact RN license at time of consideration Current BLS certification from AHA Minimum of 2 years current OR nursing experience Circulating experience required; scrubbing experience strongly preferred Proficiency in general, robotics, pediatrics, and trauma cases required Recent Level I trauma center experience required Experience with additional service lines such as neuro, ortho trauma, gyn, uro, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular is preferred Epic EMR experience within the past 3 years is required A supervisory reference from within the last 2 years is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626827.
