URGENT : Elder Care Provider Wanted - Experienced Elder Care Provider Needed In Scottdale, Pa $20 Per Hour

I am looking for 2 or 3 part-time elder care shift providers to offer live-out home care for 40-48 hours for my husband in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidates will provide personal care and companionship to ensure the well-being and comfort of our family member for 40-48 hours from Friday 11 / 8 4PM-to Noon or 4PM Sunday NOv 10. The hourly rate we are offering is $20-$25 / negotiable depending on training qualifications.

They must have Act 34 clearances without criminal record and ideally they will have CNA / GCA-equivalent training for elderly lifting, especially. There is no actual ‘toileting’ involved as lifting / transferring to / from assistance is their purpose. There is no housework / cooking involved other than much-appreciated as-needed ‘area tidying up’.

The role primarily involves being able to, as needed, lift and transfer a 225# 77-yr -old man with Parkinson’s Disease recovering from carpal tunnel surgery of his dominant hand which will render him of very limited ability to help himself lift / raise to / from chairs / toilet / walker. We especially need someone overnight 10PM-8AM so his main caregiver wife can get rest for his daily main care.
