Registered Nurse/PCU

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU / ED Hold)
Location: Melbourne, FL
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift - 3x12s (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

Responsibilities
Provide PCU-level nursing care with cardiac monitoring
Manage patients on Heparin and Cardizem drips (non-titrating)
Respond to rapid response and code situations
Interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (RT, Pharmacy, PT, Radiology, etc.)

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum Experience: 1 year RN experience
Epic experience required
PCU / Stepdown / ER Holding experience preferred
Ability to manage cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and post-op patients
Strong IV, central line, and blood product administration skills

Certifications (Required)
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

License Requirements
Active Florida RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
