Job Summary

Ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care by developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs. This role requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment to design and lead initiatives that promote the professional growth and competency of nurses and other clinicians. Actively supports management policies and hospital operations in an acute care setting. Works collaboratively with leadership, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring that clinical competencies meet regulatory standards, organizational goals, and patient care needs.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education / related experience : Required
  • Master's Degree : Preferred
  • Three years' of recent experience in an acute care setting : Preferred
  • One year experience in clinical education or staff development : Preferred

Licenses / Certifications

  • Current RN license in the state of practice : Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (CPR or BLS) certification : Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or ALS) certification : Preferred
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification : Preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification : Preferred
  • Other professional certifications : Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice : Required
  • Facility Specific License / Certifications

  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) : Required
