Job descriptionEstablish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specificaions Investigate process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Develop documentation and process protocols to support quality assurance programs Oversee the installation, operaption, and maintenance of production equipment Evaluate and recommend materials to improve product performance and cost effectiveness Work closely with suppliers to ensure material specifications are met Monitor and analyze production metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement Generate regular reports detailing process performance, costs and efficiency improvements Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards Promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the production environment 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a solar manufacturing environment or related industry Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing processes is a strong advantage Proficiency in process simulation software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or process improvement methodologies Hands on experience with equipment calibration and troubleshooting Primary based in a manufacturing environment (Onsite) May require standing for extended periods, working with machinery
