About The Position

Job Title : RN - Pediatric Medical ICU

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night and Day rotation

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required.

License : Permanent license required; no exceptions.

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Ventilator management experience
• Critical care experience

Description :

Position available for a Registered Nurse in Pediatric Medical ICU.

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience are required.

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Weekend coverage is required, with every other weekend expected.

The clinician will float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs, including CICU, MSICU, and NICU.

Care of ventilated patients and experience with congenital heart disease / repair is necessary.

Additional experience in Pediatric CVICU, PICU, post-neurosurgery, and ventilator management is preferred.

Staffing consists of a 50 / 50 day / night rotation.

Common patient diagnoses in this unit include neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, respiratory issues, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, esophageal atresia, trauma, and complex care patients.

Two professional references from the last three places of employment are needed for verification.
