Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts, requiring at least 1 year of Siemens CT experience and current ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a CT department within a 356-bed academic Level 1 Trauma and comprehensive stroke center
  • Night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3x12 hours (19 : 00-7 : 30)
  • Patient population includes emergency, inpatient, ICU, and outpatient cases
  • All CT scanners are Siemens, with equipment purchased new in 2020 and identical protocols
  • No floating outside of CT department required
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
  • Work with a team in an academic, research-oriented hospital environment
  • All CT protocols follow American College of Radiology accreditation standards
  • Scrub color is ceil blue
  • Parking is available in an onsite garage at no cost
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Time off requests must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation are at manager's discretion
  • Level 1 Trauma center with a focus on advanced neuro and emergency imaging

    • Requirements

  • At least 1 year of CT experience required
  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience operating Siemens CT equipment required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must live more than 70 miles from the facility
  • Pending license may be accepted at manager's discretion
  • License required if applicable
