Land Mobile Radio (P-25) - Product Manager

Position Summary :

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Product Manager with a deep understanding of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) technology and the public safety communications market. This individual will play an active and influential role in our product strategy and development, ensuring our product roadmap addresses the critical communication needs of first responders and public safety agencies. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical capabilities, a strong understanding of sales cycles within the public safety sector, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with other teams. You will be responsible for translating market requirements into profitable products and ensuring our offerings exceed the expectations of our public safety customers. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President and General Manager, LMR.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• LMR & Public Safety Communications Market Expertise :

Conduct in-depth market research and customer analysis to understand the evolving communication needs, challenges, and purchasing behaviors of public safety agencies such as law enforcement, fire, EMS, utilities, and emergency management.

Serve as a principal member of the Product Development Committee, providing expertise on market demand, competitive landscape, and public safety requirements to shape the product roadmap and strategy.

Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies and launch plans tailored to the unique LMR buying cycles and needs of public safety agencies.

Drive strong cross-functional alignment and execution across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and sustainment in the public safety sector.
