Truist Wealth Trust Account Manager
Directly administers and provides fiduciary advice and oversight for all types of Wealth trust accounts including personal trusts, special needs trusts, investment management, custodial and guardianship accounts. Manages a portfolio of varying accounts in levels of complexity and asset size.
Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Understanding and interpreting financial and estate planning strategies and legal and fiduciary documents.
- Partnering with client teams to identify and onboard new business.
- Meeting or exceeding client service standards by partnering with various internal teams to define and meet clients' goals and objectives.
- Completing trust administrative duties in an effective and efficient manner.
- Coordinating annual administrative review and tax matters for assigned accounts.
- Escalating matters to internal parties as needed.
- Completing projects as determined by the line of business.
- Conforming to Truist policies and procedures, applicable laws and the terms of the underlying documents.
Required qualifications include :
10+ years experience as a relationship manager in the Fiduciary Services, Private Wealth, or Institutional Investment Management industry with 5+ years in Trust Administration.Strong knowledge of estate planning, fiduciary and tax laws.Strong analytical skills including issue identification and resolution.Significant legal document interpretation skills.Very knowledgeable of banking and trust systems.Intermediate or advanced PC skills.Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize work.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to mentor and informally coach Trust Advisors and other members of the team.Preferred qualifications include :
Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, Fiduciary Administration or related field.Working towards or possess an advanced degree or certification (e.g. JD, MBA, CFP, CPA, or CTFA).Experience working with Trust Financial Software.Truist offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan to eligible teammates.
