Work Hours : Monday to Friday 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm

(May have to stay late on some occasions)

The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule to support employees across three different shifts. While the primary working hours are from 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, there may be occasions when the HR Assistant is required to work from 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM to meet the needs of the organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

The HR Assistant / Office Clerk will support the onsite Management Team in the administrative and day-to-day functions for the Aurora DC.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Serve as the DC receptionist and office clerk

Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and employees by answering questions and proactively troubleshooting questions and issues

Assist with hourly recruiting functions

Create employee files, filing, and help with other HR related documentation

Create, communicate, implement, and coordinate employee appreciation activities

Administratively support human resources policies, procedures, and programs

Provide day to day support to DC Distribution Manager

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

Must be bilingual in Spanish / English

High School Diploma required / 2-Year College Degree preferred. Experience in Human Resources preferred

Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Demonstrate ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization

Capable of handling multiple tasks at once

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and results oriented

Proficient in working with computers and Microsoft Office suites required
