MOHS Surgical Medical Assistant

We are currently seeking dedicated MOHS Surgical Medical Assistants to join our team.

This full-time hourly position involves assisting with surgical procedures to remove skin cancers and other tumors, along with performing essential administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will hold certification in Medical Assisting. Travel between our nine facilities in Northeast Ohio will be required.

Pay : $16 - $20 per hour

Qualifications

• Certification in Medical Assisting or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Preferred surgical or MOHS experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in taking vital signs
• Current CPR certification
• Able to work collaboratively within a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to various Apex Skin locations regularly
• Required documentation of Tuberculosis testing and Flu vaccination
