Urgent Care Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urgent Care Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team as we launch our newest clinic. The ideal candidate will be either an Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an urgent care setting, addressing a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Manage patient care, including the administration of medications, IV infusions, and wound care.
• Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Perform necessary medical procedures such as suturing, airway management, and diagnostic imaging (CT).
• Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding preventive care and wellness.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the urgent care facility.
• Qualifications
• Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related field.
• Proven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings is preferred but not required if coming with experience in Family Medicine.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Ability to perform procedures common in urgent care.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education.
• Knowledge of current best practices in acute pain management, infection control, and public health initiatives.

Projected Total Compensation : $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
