Responsibilities include :

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of new referrals and established clients, determining necessary psychiatric treatments.
• Assess medication needs, prescribe and monitor medications, and educate clients about their medications.
• Provide psychiatric care aligned with client goals and objectives.
• Participate actively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Consult with other physicians, treatment team members, and support staff, both internally and externally.
• Handle complex or critical cases in consultation with professional staff.
• Interface directly with clients, providing counseling during conflicts and crises.
