Hospital Biller - Chicago - Northside
We're seeking an experienced Hospital Biller to manage Medicare and Medicaid billing for our client in Chicago. This is a direct-hire opportunity, and strong knowledge of federal and state billing regulations, coding standards, and hospital billing workflows.

Location: 100% onsite in Chicago - Northside
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM

Responsibilities,- Submit clean Medicare and Medicaid claims (inpatient, outpatient)
- Confirm eligibility and benefits
- Review documentation for correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Resolve denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies
- Submit corrected claims and appeals promptly
- Follow up on A/R to ensure timely reimbursement
- Collaborate with Coding, HIM, and Patient Access teams
- Stay updated on billing rules, including IL Medicaid and Medicare Part B 121 claims
Qualifications:- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's preferred.
- 3-5 years of hospital billing experience focused on Medicare/Medicaid
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Part A/B and state Medicaid rules
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
- Experience with EHR/billing systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, CMS portals).
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
