Student Employee - Recruitment Ambassador
Recruitment Ambassadors represent Ensign College with professionalism and enthusiasm in all recruitment settings. This position supports Admissions and Recruitment efforts by engaging with prospective students, families, and community members through a variety of outreach activities. We are seeking students who are dependable, approachable, and confident in engaging with diverse audiences. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate reliability in meeting commitments, and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Ambassadors must also be adaptable, organized, and open to learning new processes and responsibilities.
Student Employees are eligible to work on campus in a part-time capacity according to Ensign College Student Employment Policy. In addition to fulfilling this purpose, each employee continuously strives to bring about the mission of Ensign College, which is to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ.
Hours : 1519 hours a week during the semester. The starting wage for all student employees is $14.00 per hour with the possibility of a $.25 rate increase each semester of continued work based on merit.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities :
Tasks :
- Represent Ensign College at off-campus recruitment events, including high school visits, college fairs, and community outreach activities
- Provide campus tours to prospective students and visitors
- Assist with on-campus recruitment events (open houses, conferences, group visits, etc.)
- Support Admissions Office operations, including front desk coverage, call center campaigns, and other assignments as trained
- Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisors
