Auto Damage Supervisor

Tesla is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Damage Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of 5-8 adjusters / appraisers who will be writing the estimate, obtaining accurate valuations, preparing the necessary correspondence for the insureds, claimants, and their legal representatives and finalizing settlement of claims. Emphasis on accuracy of estimates and settlements, efficiency while maintaining file compliance.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of adjusters / appraisers to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of auto estimate assignments
• Continuously develop talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and acquire new skills
• Promotes claims customer service excellence by building empathy and passion for a customer experience that meets or exceeds expectations
• Proactively assists in selecting top talent, delivering ongoing coaching, and recognizing employees to reinforce behaviors that ensure service excellence
• Analyzes problematic trends, takes steps to prevent recurrence, and escalate issues when necessary
• Promotes a culture focused on identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve work completion
