Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of radiology experience and current ARRT-R certification for an academic Level 1 trauma center.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a large academic medical center with Level 1 trauma designation
  • Serve adult and pediatric inpatient, observation, outpatient, and emergency department patients
  • Perform imaging in the ED, fluoroscopy, operating room (C-arm and O-arm), and portable locations
  • Must be able to rotate between ED, Fluoro, OR, and portable imaging areas
  • Shift times are dependent on the assignment requisition
  • Weekend rotation is not currently required but may change
  • Call is required
  • Holiday coverage of at least one holiday per travel assignment is preferred
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • First-time travelers with adequate experience are considered
  • Support includes a department supervisor except on 3rd shift where the technologist works independently
  • New employee orientation and a 2-day departmental orientation provided, with 2 weeks of training on required scanners
  • Manager approval required for time off requests
  • Black scrubs are required
  • Free parking available in employee parking deck

  • At least 1 year of recent experience in radiology
  • Current ARRT-R certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Ability to work independently on 3rd shift
  • Fluoro, OR, portable, and ED imaging skills required
  • Must be able to work with both adult and pediatric populations
  • License required if applicable
